Some Like It Hot!

Joe Peck retired the red suit and white beard for a spicier ensemble and a night of Latin music at the Arts Club of Washington on January 14.  Joe was joined by pianist Alex Tang and percussionist Tim McKay.  An update will follow soon.  In the meantime, you can scroll down to see the performance report from December 5 for more info about this show!  And don't miss the teasers above - some youtube videos from the program.  Enjoy!

JOE PECK: NOCHE CALIENTE!

"... a brilliant and highly entertaining cabaret show."

"We had a great time and were thoroughly entertained. Bravo!"

"[You] transported us to a sunkissed cafe terrace in Portugal!"

"We had a blast!"

December 5 was the DC area's first snow of the winter.  And it snowed most of the day.  But that didn't stop our happy trio of troubadors and a very hardy group of audience members from making their way to the Bethesda Theatre for Noche Caliente!!

The show was good.  There were songs in English and songs in Spanish and some in a little of both.  There were songs from Mexico, from Cuba, from South America, from Italy, and even a few Latin tunes from the USA.  The evening brought us backup singers and even backup dancers!!  And through it all everyone had a heck of a lot of fun. Kudos to Alex Tang on piano and Tim McKay on percussion.  Joe added the vocals and occasional guitar.

This show is going to show up somewhere else soon.  I guarantee it.  If you didn't manage to make it out to Bethesda for Joe Peck: Noche Caliente!, then you owe it to yourself to keep a lookout for the next performance. Or you can get on the update list and receive advance email notice.  Simply click on "Contact Joe" to the left here and send us a quick message mentioning Update List.
