Here is info about and clips from Joe's work as a vocalist and performer in small venues. These are extremely entertaining shows full of heart, soul, humor, and really good music.
Joe Peck: Noche Caliente!
Joe's most recent small-stage performance, this show is a collection of outstanding Latin and Latin-inspired tunes. Audience members are treated to Latin classics such as Guantanamera and Como Fue as well as contemporary tunes (ala Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan) and some original songs to boot.
Alone Again, Naturally
"Alone Again, Naturally" was debuted on Friday, February 13, 2009. Given the auspicious date - the allegedly unluckiest day of the year and just one day prior to Valentines Day 2009 - the show appropriately focused on being unlucky in love. And, as luck would have it, the mix of lighting and video camera settings left Joe looking like a cross between Uncle Fester and Caspar The Friendly Ghost. But the show is extremely entertaining, and the music sounds great.
Sinatra and Styne: It's Magic!
As the title clearly implies, this program follows the links between the careers of music greats Jule Styne (amazingly talented and prolific composer) and Frank Sinatra (whose legacy is legend). While not a strict chronological retrospective, the show does look at the men's lives through their shared music. Such iconic tunes as "Just In Time" can be found in the show as well as some less well-known but equally outstanding gems. Great, great music!!
