AND A ONE AND A TWO ....
Joe is rehearsing for a number of upcoming performances. There is the Joe Peck & Tom Nichols double-header at Sounds of Hope benefiting Open Circle Theatre on July 23. And Baltimorians can get there earful of Joe's new tunes at Germano's Trattoria on August 21. READING IS GOOD FOR YOU
Joe is continuing his work as a "books-on-tape" (and CD) narrator. He is currently reading the book "Let This Voice Be Heard" by Maurice Jackson (a professor at Georgetown University) - a fascinating account of the life and efforts of French emigre' Anthony Benezet in the abolitionist movement of the 18th century. Recent books include a story for young readers called "The Roar" by Emma Clayton and a murder mystery novel "New Tricks" by David Rosenfelt (the second in the Andy Carpenter series narrated by Joe). See Joe's blog for more on the books he's been narrating at Blogarhythms on the menu at top.
