With the new single out, we're trying to get the song played while continuing to finish the CD. Thus the single now sits in the inbox of many radio station music directors.
Enter podcasts. Well, 2 podcasts so far. “In The City Lights” has been accepted for play on 2 podcasts and is under consideration by a few others. One of the 2 that has indicated their excitement about sharing the “In The City Lights” single with their listeners is syndicated and rebroadcast … drumroll … on radio stations. It feels a bit like we're living that children's story, "The Little Train That Could." Of course, we still have a lot of hill to climb yet!
We’ll post more info about the podcasts and stations when the song goes live with them. It may be mid-June by then, but we're in the pipeline! Thank goodness for podcasts!!

The title track from Joe's upcoming debut CD - In The City Lights - has now gone live on iTunes where it is available in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia. FIRST SINGLE RELEASED
On May 7, Joe's first single hit the streets! A fun tune with an infectious beat and catchy lyrics, the song is the title track from Joe's upcoming debut CD - In The City Lights. DEBUT CD IN THE WORKS
Joe has been so busy writing his orginal songs - best described as alternative infused with blues, country, folk and pop - that he finally reached critical mass. And how, he's in the studio recording a number of thos tunes for his debut CD. Teaming up with decorated producer Marco Delmar at Recording Arts, the CD should be available later this year. Check back for updates on singles to be released and an upcoming announcement on the CD release date and party. You don't want to miss the party!!
MID-ATLANTIC SONG CONTEST
Joe's original tune, "Your Eyes," has been given Honorable Mention recognition by the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. The contest - a songwriting contest sponsored by the Songwriters' Association of Washington (SAW), is open to any and all songwriters in a variety of genres. "Your Eyes" is a love tune that competed in the Open Category because the song's genre is a bit hard to classify. But it's pretty and poignant and evidently merit-worthy, too.
