I'M THE KING OF THE ... STUDIO?

Joe will be recording a cast album for the new musical production "The Dancing Princesses" over the next month or so.  Joe will be singing the role of the King - father, obviously, to the unruly princesses.  Based on an old fairy tale, the new musical will be mounted later in the Spring at Bethesda's Imagination Stage.

CALIENTE IN THE CAPITAL

Joe will be sharing his new show, "Joe Peck: Noche Caliente!" in a private performance with the members of the Arts Club of Washington on January 14.  As on December 5 in Bethesda, this show provides plenty of Latin heat to warm up a winter's evening.  And Joe will again be joined by pianist Alex Tang and percussionist Tim McKay.

A SACRED TRUST

Joe will be performing a couple of numbers to celebrate the dawn of a new year at Calvary UMC in Arlington, VA on January 10.

HO, HO, HO WITH THE BSO

Joe had a successful run as Santa Claus with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for their Holiday Spectacular.  Starring Anne Hampton Callaway, the show was a family friendly, star-studded event to celebrate the magic of the holidays.  Everyone in the cast did an outstanding job under the direction (conduction?) of Jack Everly.

SNOW & SIZZLE!!

On the day DC got it's first snow of the winter - December 5 - Joe performed his new cabaret "Noche Caliente!" at Bethesda Theatre for a night of Latin music - all songs with Latin rhythms.  Sambas, boleros, bossa novas, tangos, etc.  put together in one extremely entertaining package.  With talented music director Alex Tang at the keyboards and Tim McKay on percussion, this was truly a hot night of music!  Oh, we also had backup singer, backup dancers and ....  Well, you should see it for yourself!  If you missed it this time, you might have another chance to catch it in 2010.  To be sure you don't miss it again, get an advance notice by clicking on "Contact Joe" at left and sending us a message with "Update List" in the body.
