Open Circle Theatre
Benefit Performance
at Potter's House

Joe Peck and Tom Nichols teamed up on July 23 at 8 p.m. for an awesome performance of alternative, folk, pop, and blues music to benefit the non-profit Open Circle Theatre as part of the Sounds of Hope series.  Open Circle highlights the contributions and performances of individuals (on and off the stage) with disabilities.  OCT Artistic Director Susie Richard was on hand greeting folks and even taking dinner orders from the crowd.  Talk about a hands-on leader!

It was an fun evening.  All tolled the event raised about $600 for future works by Open CIrcle, and a great group of hardy folks willing to brave record heat were entertained.

3D Music: Tom Nichols, Holly Montgomery, Joe Peck

June 17 -- 8:00 p .m.
The Bethesda Theatre

The

Joe Peck joined forces with beloved singer/songwriter Tom Nichols, outstanding pianist Dan Chadburn and highly acclaimed popular rocker Holly Montgomery for a show at the Bethesda Theatre on June 17.  Each artist brought about 30 minutes of outstanding music.  It was, in fact, Joe's debut as a singer/songwriter.  Joe - with guitar in hand - was honored to take the opening/warm-up position for this great show.

It was a full house for this amazingly eclectic show of original tunes.  Those who attended got to participate in one of the last performances at the Bethesda Theatre before it goes to auction on 6/29/2010.  It's a shame to see this venue go.  Let's hope it gets a new life and continues as a hot spot for new and emerging artists.
